State Travel Policy / Hotel Listings
In-state Lodging Policy
The maximum lodging reimbursement rate for in-state travel is the federal
per diem room rate which is currently $70 per night plus tax for all locations
with the exception of Flathead County, Gallatin County, Lake County, Lewis
and Clark County, Missoula County, and Silver Bow County. Please refer to
the Federal Lodging Rate Guidelines for these locations.
Hotel managers may require state employees to show a valid state identification card before they will honor the state rate.
